If you smell GAS or have GAS LEAK contact NATIONAL GRID on 0800 111 999 immediately. Do not turn on any lights and ensure you step outside the property to call NATIONAL GRID.
Please call our office during working hours Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm to make us aware that you have made a report to NATIONAL GRID.
A maintenance emergency is defined as the complete failure of your heating and or hot water system that has not been caused as a result of non payment, lack of credit on a pre payment meter, or an issue with you meter (which your electricity provider would need to address), or a leak that cannot be isolated by turning off the stop cock.

The grievance will be acknowledged within 3 working days and then investigated thoroughly in accordance with established “in-house” procedures. A formal written outcome of the complaint will be sent to you within 21 days. If we require longer than this timescale we will advise you in writing and confirm our revised response date.
If you remain dissatisfied with the result of the internal investigation, please contact Mark Morsley at the above address, who will review the complaint. Following the conclusion of our in-house review we will write to you with a final written statement.
If you are dissatisfied with the conclusion of the in-house review of the complaint, you can refer the matter to The Property Ombudsman
